The Autumn Litter Blitz is back!

The city is joining forces for the Autumn Litter Blitz from 16 October – 13 November! Borrow some litter pickers and pick up for your pals. Help keep the city clean and safe for wildlife and people.

There are plenty of ways to get involved: organise a litter pick in your local neighbourhood, multi-task during your riverside walk, join a litter picking group or perhaps energise your colleagues by doing a corporate litter pick.

Last year an incredible 348 volunteers took part in 77 litter picks, collecting 284 bags of litter! Shall we see if we can do better?

  • Helps create safe habitats for wildlife
  • Supports your community, especially if you do a litter pick on a street where you live, work or play
  • Inspires others to pick up a litter picker (and to not drop litter in the first place!)
