Green waste collections for business
Are you having a garden refurbishment? Redecorating the green areas of your office? Or do you own a construction company that specialises in garden renovation? We can support your green waste regardless of the level of waste that your business produces.
We can support you and your green waste by providing you with a range of different containers, including 240L, 360L or 660L in size. Alternatively, if you are completing an especially large project, we can provide you with an 1100L bin. You can see what these containers look like here.
What happens to my green waste?
Our specialist trucks can collect your green waste as often as you require. Once collected, it is sorted and the materials that can’t be composted are removed and disposed of correctly. The recyclable material is composted and used by local farmers as fertiliser.
Acceptable items
Our green waste service includes the following waste items:
- Branches (Up to 10cm or 4 inches in thickness)
- Flowers
- Grass cuttings
- Hedge pruning
- Leaves and bark
- Plants
- Straw or sawdust
- Twigs and Weeds
Unacceptable items include:
- Cardboard (Put this in your blue bag)
- Cat, dog or other pet litter
- Compost
- Cooked and uncooked food (Put this in your brown food bin)
- Japanese Knotweed
- Nappies
- Plant pots
- Soil and turf
- Stone or rubble
- Treated wood
- Vacuum cleaner contents
