Autumn Litter Blitz results 2024
Our awesome autumnal litter pickers did an exceptional job during this year’s Autumn Litter Blitz.
From 18 October – 15 November, we saw residents and communities from all over the city banding together to help keep Bristol looking its best. Overall, hard working volunteers spent 2,787 hours litter picking – that’s like litter picking for 4 months straight!
We want to give a huge thanks to all the volunteers who have borrowed litter picking gear from us and collected a record amount of litter. Let’s check this year’s results to see how we faired.

Little litter pickers
A real highlight of the Autumn Litter Blitz this year was how many children got involved! In Eastville, 8 children from May Park Primary School collected 12 bags of litter from around their school and local streets. Another 8 nursery children joined the Big Tidy’s event with Places for People in St Paul’s, and contributed to the amazing 45 bags collected!
