Service update: 19 July 2021

We are experiencing a staff shortage due to covid-19 and the national driver shortage. To allow us to maintain essential waste and recycling services, all garden waste collections, including garden sacks, are suspended until mid-September. Subscribers to the service have been contacted with the options available to them. Where possible, we encourage residents to compost their garden waste at home. You can find tips here.

We are working hard to address the situation and thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through the issue. Please try to avoid putting extra strain on our services at this time.

Community engagement activities such as transfer station tours and face-to-face talks have been paused due to coronavirus.

We’ve been busy finding new ways to educate and inspire Bristol residents virtually throughout lockdown and we can’t wait to get back to face-to-face engagement when it’s safe to do so.
